The Wilderness Society

The Wilderness Society is powered by thousands of Australians from all walks of life. We work to support the living world that makes all life possible (including our own).

Together, we're taking on transnational corporations, rogue operators, and the armies of lobbyists and politicians who defend them. From the corridors of Canberra to the streets of your town, we’re here to change the system.

The nipaluna Climate Collective

The nipaluna Climate Collective (NCC) works to unite young people (ages 12-18) across southern lutruwita/trowunna (so-called Tasmania) behind immediate, effective and ambitious climate action.

Our organising team engages in government and industry lobbying to promote the adoption and passage of good climate policy, works with young people to enable them to become more effective advocates for climate action in their community and organises our (in)famous school strikes and other in-person events.

Doctors for the Environment

Doctors for the Environment Australia (DEA) is an organisation of doctors who recognise that human health and wellbeing require an environment; free of pollution, capable of providing nutritious food, rich in biodiversity, and able to provide for current and future generations sustainably.

Grandparents for Climate Action Now

Grandparents for Climate Action Now (Grandparents CAN) is a group of grandparents and citizens from across Australia.

Our manifesto is simple: We want to leave a healthy planet behind us for our grandchildren and we need the Australian Government to act quickly and decisively against the threat of continued global warming.

School Strike 4 Climate Australia

We are school students of all ages, races, genders, backgrounds and sexualities from every part of Australia. United by our concern for the future of the planet that we live in, we have bridged the thousands of kilometres that separates us to create one of the biggest political movements in Australian history.

We are striking from school to demand that our politicians take our future seriously & treat climate change as what it is: a crisis.

Extinction Rebellion Tasmania

We are people from all over Tasmania (lutruwita) with varied careers and of all ages who are deeply concerned about the climate and ecological crises emergency. Through peaceful, creative and disruptive actions, we strive to compel governments to act to prevent climate change and ecological collapse.

Unnatural disasters: Climate emergency.

The Tree Projects is an environmental outreach organisation that educates people about forests and why they are important. We use photography, video and digital storytelling to help share the wonder about our natural environment and why it's worth protecting. We are passionate advocates for forest conservation and climate change action and encourage people to go out and explore Tasmania’s wonderful trees.

Australian Religious Response to Climate Change

ARRCC is a multi-faith, member-based organisation of people from around Australia who are committed to taking action on climate change. We bring together representatives from all the major faith traditions to work together in addressing climate change.

We believe that as people dedicated to the common good, inspired by our beliefs and energized by our spirituality, people of all faiths can and should be at the forefront of creating a safe climate. While celebrating the uniqueness of our different traditions, we stand together in working for an ecologically and socially sustainable future.

Standing Up For The Young

Our children and grandchildren face a world of ever worsening chaos and violent collapse. So people all over the world are asking - alongside everything else we are doing, what if we gave young people the vote?  And that most basic of rights - a say in their own fate. We see securing their right to vote as a potential game-changer in the so far, losing battle against extinction.

Circular Economy Huon

Our aim is to build a collaborative network that makes better use of our resources, minimises waste and creates a happier, stronger, more sustainable community; to foster regenerative systems which support the community, and government to reduce GHG emissions and promote energy efficiency.

Australian Youth Climate Coalition

The Australian Youth Climate Coalition is Australia’s largest youth-run organisation, and our mission is to build a movement of young people leading solutions to the climate crisis. We're working for a future grounded in climate justice, where people on the frontlines of climate change can take back power and lead solutions from the ground up. We educate, inspire, and mobilise young people to win campaigns for a safe climate, to keep fossil fuels in the ground, and build a future powered by clean energy.

 Vets for Climate Action

Veterinarians for Climate Action represent concerned veterinarians, veterinary nurses, practices and industry partners across Australia who want climate action.

Australians love their animals and wildlife.

And we know that climate change threatens their welfare.
