Snap Rally: Labor is Sleeping on Climate Change

Join us at Julie Collins' Office from 12 noon on Monday 22nd September to tell Labor to stop sleeping on climate change.
SNAP ACTION!
WHEN: 12 Noon Monday 22nd September
WHERE: Franklin MP Julie Collins' Office, 18 Ross Avenue, Rosny Park
WHY: Labor is in bed with the fossil fuel industry, with the approval of over 28 new coal and gas projects in their first term, the approval the Woodside North-West Gas Shelf extension, one of the most polluting gas projects in the southern hemisphere, and now the announcement of a weak 2035 target that fails to meet our Paris Climate commitments.
The federal government announced a 2035 emission reduction target of 62-70% - a weak target from a timid Prime Minister, that is too little, too late.
Outraged communities, are peacefully protesting across Australia to tell Labor to stop sleeping on climate.
