Make Your Pollies Work for You
You don’t have to be an expert. The simple fact that you care is reason enough to contact a politician.
Members of Tasmanian Parliament, Senate & House of Reps
Tasmanian Legislative Council
Tasmanian House of Assembly
Federal Senate & House of Reps
How, who, why.
The role of our politicians is to represent us.
By electing them, we give them the power to make decisions and laws on our behalf.
Therefore, it’s important for them to know what we think and what we want them to do - and they don’t know unless we tell them!
1. How to guide
Climate for Change support people to talk about climate change. They have excellent resources for how to engage with your pollies. See their excellent resources here.
3. Why is it important?
Collective pressure on policy makers is the single biggest way to have an impact on climate change and other environmental issues.
4. Remind me who to contact?
The links above list the members of the Tasmanian Parliament and the Tasmanian members of Federal Parliament. These people represent you - so let them hear your views.
