The Tasmanian Climate Collective’s submission on Tasmania’s draft Transport Emissions Reduction and Resilience Plan calls for more ambitious, measurable and properly resourced action to reduce transport emissions and build resilience. It supports rapid electrification, greater investment in public and active transport, reduced private vehicle reliance and stronger social equity measures, while highlighting the need for clear targets, accountability, public education and transport policies guided by independent scientific advice.
